Seals in Monterey, California on Cannery Row. This is the location of several John Steinbeck novels including one of my favorites Cannery Row which was published in 1945. After I left Monterey I drove to Salinas; the city of Steinbeck’s birth and home to a museum in his honor. Unfortunatly the museum was closed so I will have to come back another day.
