The Jeep is in Alameda (San Fran area) getting fixed so I decided to fly back to Maryland for a week. The first night back I stood overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, felt the humidity and smelt the salty air and I instantly remembered why this is always going to be home for me. Alas… I’ll be heading back out to California soon so I can pick up the car and drive it to Colorado. It’s gonna stay in Colorado until we finish the bike trip.

I just ate lunch in downtown San Fran and got talking to Daniel, who kind of looks like Billy Joel at age 50. Turns out Daniel is a prophet and we talked at length about the upcoming destruction of LA and San Fran by rains of sulphur. I’m not poking fun at him and I really discussed his theological beliefs with him to learn more about it. He revealed (told) me that the two cities will be destroyed when he leaves for Israel, sometime maybe in September. I recorded the whole talk, with his permission, using my phone. I’ll post some audio later.
